Map size has nothing to do with game engine or hdd, except the size in gb it occupies. Each map had blocks, which are loaded on demand depending on the zone the player is at. Usually 3 are loaded at once to guarantee a seamless experience. A 20 000 unit map square it s usually less then 100 mb, assets are in different files.

Forza Horizon 4, people sometimes give it flack for looking boring, but the fact is that it just looks like the UK, that’s how it is from my experience living here, so I say that Forza Horizon 4 has the most realistic map
Forza Horizon 5 is based in the lands of Mexico and with a towering volcano on the map they definitely did not lack any sense of height. You could also play in almost every terrain you could hope for whether you’d want to go offroading in some muddy terrain with lots of bumps and roots then there are perfect trails in the dense jungles they have added.
The map data was collected using in-game telemetry, but I haven't tried collecting any map data for non-Forza games. I don't think TDU/2 or MCL support telemetry-out support unfortunately. However, with a little elbow grease I can add support for other games to the forza-telemetry app. I found a list of games that have a telemetry-out feature

According to my PC the full FH4 install is using 88.5GB but it may not be reporting it accurately. How much more is the ultimate edition? Opinions vary on the DLC but I'm not a big fan of either, I do like the Fortune Island map but there's little reason to back to it when finished and I was disappointed with the Lego DLC which I don't think is good on the Lego side or the racing side.

It's kind of hard to tell exact figures, but the map is definitely bigger. I'd say at a rough guess FH3 is 2x bigger than FH2, and 3-4x bigger than FH1. Hope this helped. Yea, it was pretty small, but still a great game. Was trying to look up a map overlay of all the maps but I couldn't find one. Playground Games say it's 2x bigger than Horizon
